This simulator models a planar CV mechanism where electrochemically generated R undergoes disproportionation: $O+ne^- \rightleftharpoons R$, followed by $2R \xrightarrow{k_{\text{disp}}} O+P$. The disproportionation rate is defined as $v = k_{disp}[R]^2$; therefore, $d[R]/dt = -2k_{disp}[R]^2$, while $d[O]/dt = d[P]/dt = k_{disp}[R]^2$. The initial bulk concentration of R is fixed at zero.
